Left Picture: In 2007, this building located at 224 Spruce Street, Manchester, NH 03103 was an illegal 5 family dwelling.

Foreclosed on in 2008 and left empty, it was soon vandalized for the copper & aluminum within it and simply became a welcome mat for further illegal activity.

Right Picture: In 2009 The Way Home organization bought the house and land and made plans to rebuild and revitalize it.

Follow the progression from demolition to the brand new 3 family housing featuring 4 bedrooms per each apartment for larger families!

Construction has begun!  Funding has been provided by New Hampshire Housing Financing Authority and City of Manchester/Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) using Neighborhood Stabilization Program.  Gary Chicoine Construction from Weare, NH was awarded the construction contract.
