Supporting The Way Home – A Non-Profit Housing Program of Manchester, NH

On Friday, June 5, 2015, Oneida Air Systems’ CEO Chris Guerrera attended a garden party hosted by The Way Home, an award-winning non-profit agency, based in Manchester, NH whose mission is to serve and assist homeless and high risk families, individuals, veterans, and special needs clients in obtaining and keeping safe, affordable housing, as well as offering supportive services to nurture their independence and advocating for greater opportunity. In its 27 years, The Way Home has served more than 20,000 people in its mission.

The garden party was sponsored by The Way Home as a thank you to the community for coming together to help with the renovations and repairs needed for their seven unit transitional property that flooded as a result of a pipe that burst during a particularly cold day this past February. The home is expected to welcome half of its residents back by the end of June while restoration continues on the other units.

During the event, Manchester’s ABC-WMUR news reporter Amy Coveno shared a speech with attendees that gave details about Oneida Air’s Dust Deputy product, a “must-have” for any renovation project in which a shop vacuum is needed, and also gave mention of Chris’s personal efforts to promote Oneida Air Systems and Dust Deputy in both states he calls home. Chris, a resident of neighboring Auburn, NH, is based in Syracuse, NY during the work week, and happily considers both Syracuse and Auburn his home (Learn More).
